Meet the arborists…

  • Nick Davies became an Arborist after enjoying the great outdoors. Nick had a passion for fishing and cycling which led him to Sparsholt College Hampshire. He first studied fishery studies at the college and then went on to carry out a National Diploma in Arboriculture. This a two year course that gave Nick an indepth knowledge in tree care and management. Since leaving Sparsholt College Nick quickly became a leading climber for a Hampshire based firm, and the went on to become a foreman and freelance climber work for several firms on a sub-contractual basis.

  • Simon Collins studied at Sparsholt college Winchester in 2000 and gained a National Certificate in Arboriculture, since then he has gone on to work for one of the areas leading firms for 9 years. This has given him massive experience in all aspects of the industry and work place from small gardens to large specialist removal of trees utilising the use of cranes. He has also gained his ISA specialist climber qualification and all the relevant NPTC qualifications required to carry out the work safely and to a high standard.
